Arvo passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends.
He was born in Finland, settled in Port Coquitlam then ran Rose Lake Lodge before moving to Hagensborg in the beautiful Bella Coola Valley.
Arvo valued his many friendships forged through his barbering career. He was respected as a hardworking man. Arvo enjoyed his life and family. A good "solid" drink, fishing, and the outdoors. He was a good neighbour and loved to hear or tell a good story.
Arvo was a loving, caring husband to Sonia, his kids - Ellen, Eric, Rick and Nancy, his grandkids - Aric and Riza and his great-grandkids - Lucy, Jienna, Ruby and Jay.
He will be missed by all.
